Course Description:
This engaging and interactive course is designed to introduce young kids to the exciting world of game development through block coding. With the use of block-based programming languages, such as Scratch or Blockly, kids will learn how to create their own 2D arcade games, bringing their imaginations to life in a fun and creative way.
Throughout this course, students will explore the basics of game design and development, learning fundamental concepts such as sprites, animations, backgrounds, and game mechanics. They will utilize block codes, which are intuitive and visually appealing puzzle-like pieces, to build their games step by step.
